I had it all set to spell Addy's name ADALINE. Then, I went and looked at the archives of my local newspaper to verify the spelling of my great-great grandmother's name. It's spelled ADELINE. Since then, I've researched and found that ADELINE is the much more popular spelling. The thing is, I need to make a decision asap because my lawyer already asked for the name for court.
I would spell it exactly like your Great-Great Grandmother. Plus if it is a much more popular spelling, you will be able to find more things in her name. I spelled my daughter's name very uniquely and have to custom order any personalized items. Things you don't think about until after. Good Luck!
I agree with the previous poster. I would spell it exactly like your Great-Great Grandmother. I think in the future it is cool to say I have my name from a relative and have it spelled the same.
